Wooly

I'm on holiday at the moment, and spending most of it decorating. Most of you that have gone through this will have visited b&q at some time. It can be soul destroying on a warm day.

However, it's given me one of the lovliest sights i've seen in a while. In the sense of visiting a hardware store, obviously. Standing in a queue 5 deep, it became apparent that everyone (including the author) was either singing along/humming/toe tapping to Richard Hawley's "Just Like The Rain" which was playing over the tannoy system.

It was like being in the Full Monty, but without stripping or unemployment. Lovely stuff.

Right then, it's been a while.

Following on from the fun few months had with work, it's all settled now. Hopefully. I decided to go for a supervisory role above the position offered to me, and i got it. I now have a team of bodies under me in the north of england, and the third pay rise in as many months.

I guess i'll actually have to do some work for a change, instead of buggering around on the net..
