spinning plates

so, i realise that i seem to be incapable of updating this page, but for some reason this morning I decided to create a brand new blog which you can find here. no idea why i was compelled to start it in the first place, but there you go :-)

independence day

a scary though entered my head on friday morning that after 27 years of living in penicuik with my parents, i would finally be moving out.

i am now a home-owner(!), and stacking up beside the books, dvds, and cds i've bought over the years is cutlery, a drill, and most importantly, a kettle. this may seem funny to those of you already in their own little pads, but it all seems quite bemusing to me. that said, it's all pretty exciting.
