Cutter

Following on from a couple of discussions with friends from overseas, it seems that Scots have a propensity to label people, and do so more than anyone on the planet.

Was news to me admittedly, but looking over it, there does seem to be a case to answer for.

People are picked out because of hair-colour. For the football team they support. For the sport they watch. For the music they listen to. For the drinks they imbibe. For the town they come from.

Whilst on the surface it can provide seemingly harmless banter in the work place, the undercurrent of judging is there . Why should it matter if the tea is herbal or tetleys? Does it make a difference to who the person is? Red hair. Does it make the owner any less of a person? No. Course not. And does coming from a certain town have a bearing on how you should act, should think?

Bollocks it does. It's like saying because we're Scottish we drink out bodyweight every weekend and winge constantly about things that took place several hundred years ago.

Oh...
