Heist

After spending a couple of days deciding i didn't want to see it, i bit the bullet last night and watched Ocean's Thirteen on the big screen.

I have to say, but i was impressed. I enjoyed the first two, although the second film seemed to be a schmooze-fest of actor-mates making a film. 13, on the other hand, was a return to the snappiness of the first.

The first half did seem to dazzle you with science for a bit, but it gave way to a second half of action, and some interesting mini-subplots for the rest of the original 11, the plot involving the mexican factory being one of the funniest things in the film. It's surely the only Holywood film this, or any other year, to mention Morcambe and Wise.

Whether or not Soderbergh should get them all together again for another outing is open to debate, but the technical trickery and dialog suggests that his next film will be a pretty interesting piece of work.
