shamon
so, he's innocent then. the king of pop is free to hang with his pet monkey and release mediocre albums to his hearts content. on the face of it the evidence was pretty circumstantial, and it did seem like the arvizo's were in it for the money, but the manner in which the most overrated member of the jackson 5 conducted himself during the trial was ludicrous. the whole thing stinks like a 4 week old kebab. no way was the jury going to convict such a high profile defendant. even on the charge which was a dead cert, that of providing alcohol to minors. giving "jesus juice" to teenagers who share your bed is apparently alright in the laws of california.
i guess that either verdict would've been an unsafe one, the truth may never be known.

He was always going to get acquitted. Money buys influence.
If it had been some 'normal, everyday bloke' do you think he would have been acquitted? No way.
American justice at it's best/worse.
Hope he learns his lesson.
