all change

a new week, a new look for the site. i was kinda getting bored of the old minimalist stylee, so in a fit of pique, i changed it. happy days. i've been on a week's holiday hence the lack of posts, so i'd thought i'd drop a little note to show i'm still here.

it's been unusually sunny the last week or so. i spent yesterday lying on a hill beside roslin chapel (read your da-vinci code for details folks!) soaking up the view and listening to the delgados. it's a pretty good way to spend a sunday afternoon, let me tell ya!

it was also pretty busy. i've lived down the road from the chapel for, ooh, ever now, and this is only the second time i've been down to it. the last time was with a girl called isla who i was courting at the time. a religious lass, she insisted we went and checked out the chapel. it was september, and it was a cold day, but looking back it was perfect. good company, good scenery, and quiet. this was pre da-vinci code, and there was only a handful of people around. how times change. the road to the chapel was swarming with people. this is a good thing however. if anything deserves a visit, it's roslin chapel. roslin's also quite a nice little village, pretty much unchanged compared to the other towns that border it. you gotta hand it to dan brown, that's for sure.
