step one

it's funny how a small thing like a set of keys can change everything. sure, these keys come with a property attached, but i like to think of them as a symbol of change. think of how it is when you get a car. after purchase is made, you sit there waiting to hear "and here are your keys...". when you have them in hand that's it. you can get into your car and drive away. happy days.

the same thing happened when i got the flat keys. up until then i was a bit bemused by the whole process of talking to solicitors, sorting out a mortgage, that sort of thing. the ball was rolling sure enough, but aside from a stack of paper, nothing had changed. then i collected the keys, and all of a sudden i was catching myself smiling on the drive home.

I didn't think that having several thousands of pounds worth of debt over the next 25 years was something to feel chuffed about, but that's exactly what happened. innit marvelous?

it's a 1 bedroomer, 2nd floor stone built tenament, down in Newhaven. Proper nice if i do say so myself!

the view takes in the whole of the city, arthur's seat to the castle. it'll be right good during the fireworks. reckon i'll charge the public a fiver, what do you think?

brilliantly, from what i can gather the neighbours consist of someone constantly playing irish rebel songs, and a bloke who takes great delight in watching a women across the street undressing. he works in IT suprisingly enough.

So how's life in the pacific rim then? it certainly looks fantastic from yer photos!
