mo'

those of you with access to a radio/hmv/err, (legal) download site may like to check out the following.

artic monkeys - i bet that you look good on the dancefloor;
a stormer of a track. like liam gallagher fronting the clash circa 1979

bloc party - two more years;
brooding and pulsing. sounds like it should soundtrack a john hughes film.

Heard some bloc party on the Peel Day celebration, and I have to say, I was impressed... Now, where does one find this on the West Coast of Canada?

They're doing decent business at the moment. Silent Alarm is definitely a recommended album.

I have to say that some of the music coming out of Canada has been pretty decent of late (excluding Avril, natch).

Have you heard of Wolf Parade from Montreal?
They have that Arcade Fire sound to them.
"Apologies to Queen Mary" is the album and standout tracks are "You are a runner and I am my fathers son" and "I'll believe in aything".
